What does “bocachancla” mean?
Boca-chancla is a Spanish colloquial term which combines: “boca” (mouth 🫦) and “chancla” (flip-flop 🩴). It is used humorously for people that speak carelessly or without deep knowledge (suggesting that their mouth is as loose as a flip-flop). If you read my posts (which I suggest you do), you’ll see that some arguments might be a bit hand-wavy. So, as a disclaimer-kind-of-measure, I thought I’d be better off directly embracing it.
Why do you do this?
Writing is a good use of my obsessive personality: It helps me retain the topics I read about, it pushes me to deeply understand them, structure my thoughts, relate concepts, and discover new shit. More importantly, it lets me procrastinate on daily responsibilities while convincing myself that I’m being productive 🤸♂️
Besides blogging like a drunk monkey, what are your interests?
I also like to waste my time climbing 🐒, dancing salsa 💃, doing sport 🚴♂️🏃♂️🏊♂️🏔️, photography 📸, living la surf lyfe 🏄♂️, being an ornithology connoisseur 🐦, traveling 🌍 (yes traveling, yes I am very unique, yes I also enjoy drinking potable water).
Why so many ramblings on your posts?
I can’t help it! I have a condition that, whenever I start talking about AI, my brain switches to old-guy war-story-telling mode. This makes it impossible not to go on random tangents whenever I see the sightliest topic connection. This is a self-diagnose which hasn’t been confirmed by any doctor, so I don’t have any proof of it. But I don’t have any doubts either! I know because I possess a pair of sandals that allow me to see reality as it is. I don’t put then on much because raw reality can be a bit demotivating… Anyway, going back to the main topic, this scene perfectly represents my psychologically-concerning digression-based writing style.
This “about me” page is awesome! Is it humanly possible to write an even better one?
